WHAT IS BROADBAND?

Broadband is in its most simple form, a faster way of browsing the internet, sharing data, streaming video/audio etc.

It allows you to download mp3 files from MSN Music or watch video on BBCi Broadband without waiting hours for your standard dial up line gets its act together.

Broadband opens up the internet to all sorts of possibilities only dreamed of, at the moment most broadband connections aren't really at a speed that would make a 'great deal' of difference, this is changing as prices are coming down, so content in turn will increase.

As with most things so will paid content, it's a personal decision as to whether you want to pay for premium content or not. We will go into content in more detail in other sections.
